Irish whiskeys are distinctive from others by being distilled three times.  Ireland produces the following styles of whiskies: single malt, single grain, blended whiskey and pot still whiskey.

There are only three distilleries that produce Irish whiskey and these are: Cooley, Cooley at Kilbeggan, Midleton and Bushmills.
