Fonseca Porto Siroco Branco Extra Seco

Siroco is a blend of the finest extra dry white port wines produced in the Alto Douro district of Northern Portugal.  Aged in wood at their lodges, it is ready for drinking now.

Tasting Notes:

Siroco has a pale straw colour with a round yet velvety texture and a full fruit character delicately offset by subtle notes of oak.  It is clean, refreshing acidity perfectly balances its off-dry quality.

How to Serve:

Siroco is a perfect aperitif on its own or chilled maybe over some ice.  You can even try the Portuguese drink recipe for 'portonic': in a highball glass mix equal parts white port wine and tonic water, add a squeeze of lemon and some muddled or torn mint to garnish the drink.
