Shipping & Returns

Delivery And Charges:

We currently ship our wine, alcoholic drinks and products on a weight basis using a reliable delivery service Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. Currently we only ship within UK mainland excluding the following zones:

Ireland
N. Ireland
Isle Of Man
Channel Islands
Isles of Scilly
Guernsey
Jersey
Scotland
PO Box Addresses
And All Small Surrounding UK Islands

If you do not live in these zones or in the UK you can still sign up as a customer and send goods to anyone with an address in the UK.

The shipping cost that we will charge you is based on the weight of your order which is automatically calculated on checkout for you. The typical weight (estimate) of a wine bottle is 1.3kg and 1.7kg for a champagne bottle. The cost of shipping is based on the following table:

The above charges are just indicative for delivery cost and all charges are automatically calculated on checkout. Also note that they are based on delivery to a single address, if your require an order to be sent to multiple recipients the orders are charged per recipient per address basis.

The couriers will deliver the goods Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. When you place your order you we will provide you with a tracking number that will help you see where your goods are and if in the circumstance you are not available to receive the goods the couriers will leave a note an try again. The goods cannot be left unattended since all deliveries have to be signed for by an adult. After the second try the goods will be held at the couriers depot where you have to arrange to collect goods from them. Any costs occurred at this point for redelivery or redelivery to another address will have to be paid for by the customer. In the case that the goods have to be returned to us by the courier company we will get charged and this will then have to be passed onto the customer.

In the case that goods become unavailable we will contact you immediately and let you know when we will be having the product in stock again. You may either select a different product, cancel the order or have the rest of your order shipped instead. Note your account will not be billed unless we have the goods in stock.

Returns:

We always ensure that quality standards are met when supplying our products however in the event you are unhappy with the products purchased we will provide you with a full refund (excluding the delivery charge) where goods are not faulty. You must inform us within 7 working days in writing to support@capitaldrinks.com following the delivery of goods.

The returned product(s) must be in a sellable condition with all packing intact and without any damage. After receiving the product(s) we will issue a refund within 30 days if all conditions have been met. Any costs incurred for returning the goods are the responsibilty of the customer.

If however, out of the many parcels we send out it is possible for a tiny percentage to get damaged in transit. If this occurs please refuse the parcel on delivery as it will be sent back to us or sign for the goods as arrived damaged and we will send out a replacement. If the damage becomes apparent once the parcel is opened you must take photograph and email them to us immediately and we will send out a replacement. Also note that for a replacement or refund we may require you to send back the damaged goods with content for inspection.

Incorrect Products Delivered

Please contact us on 0208 574 2663 or email us at support@capitaldrinks.com if you have received incorrect goods. All terms and conditions apply set by Capital Drinks and you should return the goods to us after you have notified us and made arrangements with us to do so. Upon receiving the returned goods you will have the option to either get a refund in full or have the correct goods sent to you as soon as possible.

Please not that in any circumstance where you need to send goods back to us you must make arrangements with us first, as any returned goods to us without our consent can result in a no refund and replacement situation which includes the cost of you delivering to us.
