d'Arenberg Nostalgia Rare NV / 37.5cl

This Grenache-based Tawny Port lookalike sweet wine shows great aromas of maple syrup combined with roasted nuts and sweet fruits.  In the mouth, you get fruitcake flavours, marvelous generosity, a huge palate, and full-bodied richness.  The colour of this wine reveals lots of amber at the edge, but this offering can easily compete with thirty and forty year old Tawny Ports form Portugal, but with sweeter, riper fruit. Top drop!.
