Altano, Tinta Roriz-Touriga, Douro / 75cl

Although the Douro is, justifiably, best known for producing Port, in recent years it has proved to be an area well suited to producing excellent light wines too.

This rich flavoursome wine is made using two of the traditional Port grape varieties, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca from specially selected vineyards.

After classical fermentation in stainless steel tanks, part of the final blend is transferred to large oak barrels for maturation.

A wine with deep colour, warm, ripe, spicy fruit and rich, velvety tannins on the finish.
